Granny Slime is a non-playable character in Boing Boing Animals. She is the president of the Slime Republic and guides the player through the tutorials and later provides information about the game's lore and in-game statistics.

In-game role

The game first begins with Granny Slime calling the player. There is a short period where the player receives NO SIGNAL and the green is glitched for about a second before the call comes through and Granny Slime greets the player as an earthling. She serves as the explanation of the plot and tutorial of how to raise slimes before leaving them to raise the slime, calling the player again once the slime is an adult.

After all tutorials are completed, Granny Slime can only be called again through the settings menu and etc submenu, where when calling her the player has four prompts to choose from: Statistics, About Slimes, Photo, or End Call.

Statistics

Clicking the statistics option will show the player the total number of multiple actions that also appear as many in-game missions that yield rewards upon reaching a certain milestone. It will also show the player's highest scores in each mini game.

About Slimes

Clicking the about slimes option will prompt more options from the player: What are Slimes?, Origin of Slimes, Planet B01-NG, Slime Technology, and Return.

Photo

Clicking the photo option will show the player pictures of the slimes they have sent back to B0-1NG, cycling between eight different photos with their slimes living in areas similar to the home and mansions on Earth. The player cannot interact with these slimes.

End Call

Clicking the end call option will prompt a short dialogue line from Granny Slime before returning the player to the settings menu.
