Theme

Themes are a type of customization that the player can apply to their home or mansions in Boing Boing Animals. They affect the appearance of the space's background and do not have any effect on a slime's growth. Some themes, once purchased, will unlock special foods.

Interface

Themes are accessed by tapping the wrench-and-hammer button (second from the right in the player menu at the bottom) and going to the "Theme" tab. The themes are presented in a horizontally scrollable list, and a couple of white arrows above the thumbnails allow the player to navigate through the home and mansions while remaining in the theme selector.

Upon starting the game for the first time, three themes are unlocked:  Meadow,  Beach and  Secret Forest Pond. The Meadow theme is always the first theme applied when visiting the home for the first time or gaining access to a mansion. Locked themes can appear in the store for purchase with coins or jewels. If the theme has a special food attached to it, the player will receive 5 pieces of the food upon purchasing the theme and can purchase additional pieces from the store.
